In case if you are wondering what happened, I lost my domain name trying to get it transferred ( I started the process very late and the technical department of the particular company made the matters worse). Plus, my wordpress backup turned out to be corrupt. Some people just never learn, eh? Thanks to google’s cache, I retrieved a good number of posts.

And thanks to Lubz for reminding me that I still have a blog.  Here’s the tag:

Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it’s because I want to know more about you.
I was tagged on facebook by Bianca, Minna and Lubna. I’m re-posting it here.

1. I’d like some sheeps in my room. Stuffed ones.

2. My style is originally offbeat but I’ve camouflaged.

3. I wrote my first book at the age of seven or eight. Nobody bought it. It was a workbook.:P

4. It always intrigues me how gadgets work. When I was young, I’d break open my gadgets and fix them again but I didn’t always succeed.

5. I’m not bothered by silence at all and don’t find it awkward in conversations either. I welcome it.

6. I feel I’m blessed with a great family and great friends.

7. And a great sense of humour.

8. I like traveling to exotic places.

9. I keep a notebook in which I write interesting anecdotes my elders tell me.

10. My life is about exploring, learning and aiding.

11. I find empathy to be a respectful personality trait.

12. I believe one shapes one’s own life. There’s a lot of beauty, compassion and goodness in the world and the people. So, don’t fix your eyes only on the opposite.

13. For me – Fame is not success. Neither is gaining material wealth nor acquiring power. Success is self-discipline, benignity, humility and the ability to bring about a positive change – big or small.

14. My most interesting conversations are the ones I’ve had with children.

15. Being selfish because others are selfish is not a rightful excuse. Yet it is used so often.

16. My notebooks are full of drawings of weird creatures.

17. I’m obsessed with Irani Cinema.

18. I can listen to and enjoy all types of *good* music. Classical, country, metal, rock, jazz, folk, reggae… but I prefer listening to old songs, classical compositions, and world music (celtic, African, Far Eastern, etc).

19. I can do it. I can make it to number 25.

20. My birthday coincided with Eid once – I got a very few birthday wishes and even my family didn’t remember it. No, I don’t feel bad about it. =P

21. I’m very eager to watch The Wizard of Oz again.

22. I’ve a thing for athletes, adventurers and natural scientists.

23. I turned 23 yesterday.

24. I want to continue writing for children. I’ve written for magazines but now I’m concentrating on writing and illustrating books.

25. I love walking and cycling. For me, it’s good enough a reason to immigrate to be able to walk and bike openly.
